| Your door / spot | Choose | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Standard 36in single door | 24in | Covers the middle third of the door with frame to spare — the safe, balanced look |
| Narrow door, sidelight door, or indoor wall | 22in | Statement piece without crowding the frame |
| Double doors, wide entry, above a mantel | 26in | Holds its presence from the street and across a room |
How to measure (30 seconds)
- Measure your door width. A wreath should leave roughly 6–8in of door visible in total across both sides — on a 36in door that points to 24in.
- Check depth if you have a storm door: our 24in fall wreaths are about 4in deep; if the gap between door and storm door is tighter than that, hang the wreath on the outside face or choose the slimmer piece.
- Hang it at eye level: centre of the wreath around 57in from the floor reads right for most visitors.
Not sure? Run your door width through our wreath size calculator — it does this maths for you.
The sizes, with real wreaths
22in — the accent. Our 22" Pumpkins and Ornaments Halloween Wreath ($33.99) is the seasonal statement: pumpkin ornaments over red-black maple. On a standard door it reads as a focal pop rather than full coverage, which is exactly right for Halloween — and it is the size to pick for narrow doors and apartment entries.

24in — the standard. Two everyday-fall options, both about 24in across and 4in deep on a grapevine base (~0.76 kg, any standard hanger):
- 24" Pumpkin & Hydrangea Wreath ($29.99) — mini pumpkins and rust-orange hydrangea; warm enough to carry from first cool day through Thanksgiving.
- 24" Maple Leaf & Berry Wreath ($31.99) — red-orange maple with berry clusters, no holiday-specific message, so it never needs swapping mid-season.

26in — the presence. For double doors, entries set back from the street, and above wide mantels, go up a size: at distance, the extra two inches read as fullness, not excess. Browse the current 26-inch wreaths — stock at this size moves fast in October.
After it arrives
Every wreath ships compressed. Give it five minutes of fluffing — pull the branches outward and upward — before you judge the size; a fluffed 24in measures noticeably fuller than a just-unboxed one. Our step-by-step: how to fluff an artificial wreath (written for Christmas, works identically for fall). At season's end, store it flat and dry — see how to store artificial wreaths.
