SEASONAL EDIT

Spring Wreath

Spring wreaths built greenery-first — eucalyptus, olive and willow foliage layered for depth rather than one flat leaf repeated around a ring. 24-inch greenery designs for the front door, alongside an 18-inch sunflower wreath for a smaller door or an interior wall.

GREEN, STARTING OVER

Spring wreaths, thoughtfully considered.

Our spring wreaths are greenery first — eucalyptus, olive and willow foliage layered for depth rather than one flat leaf repeated around a ring. Each is made for indoor or covered outdoor use, so it can move from the front door to the mantel as the season turns.

Where the green comes from

Eucalyptus brings a rounder, softer leaf; olive and willow are narrower and slightly darker, and the two together are what stop a greenery wreath reading as one flat tone. Nothing in this edit depends on a printed ribbon or a bright accent to carry the design, which is why these pieces also live on past spring.

Choosing a size for a front door

Measure the visible door face, not the frame. A wreath that covers about two-thirds of that width sits in the usual proportion — for a standard 36-inch door that is 24 inches. Step down to 18 inches for a narrow door, a sidelight or a window, where a full-size ring would sit on the trim instead of within the panel.

Hanging it, and putting it away

Every piece arrives assembled in the box. The foliage travels compressed, so give it a minute of shaping by hand before it goes up and it will read full rather than flat. An over-door hook or a wreath hanger is enough. Back in the box at the end of the season, away from damp, it returns to form the following spring.
