Why this is the default size

A standard single front door is around 36 inches wide, and a wreath that covers about two-thirds of that comes out at 24 inches. It is large enough to be legible from the pavement and small enough not to fight the door hardware, which is why most of the catalogue is built at this scale first.

What is in the edit

Autumn pieces in burgundy, maple and hydrangea; pre-lit Christmas wreaths in flocked, cedar and gold; eucalyptus and olive greenery that runs through to summer; and a sunflower design with a hello sign. This is the widest single size in the store, and the one to start from if you are buying for a front door you have not measured.

When to go smaller or larger

Step up to 26 inches for a wide or double door, or for an entry where the wreath is seen from a distance. Step down to 18–22 inches for a narrow door, a sidelight or a window. If the calculation lands between two sizes, the smaller one reads as a deliberate choice and the larger one as a mistake.
